"Jack Keller did not lose the fight.....he won the battle. He did not die....he became fully alive.
My most precious and beloved Jack met his Savior - Jesus tonight. He is beholding the Glory of his God....
dancing with the angels and  embracing the reality that all of the suffering was fully worth it.....
because Heaven is worth it all

Jack's Story

"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown" - Isaiah 43:2

Jack's story isn't really a story about Jack...it is a story of the faithfulness of God.

Today Jack is feeling "better"

Today Jack is feeling "better" and went back to work for the whole day. It seems that the anitbiotic and increased predisone dose is helping with Jack's breathing. He is still tired and sore. He continues to have chest pain. We talked to the doctors at length about this and they assured us that it is muscle pain associated with his procedure, however it continues to be troubling to us. Please pray that the pain would dimish or that his doctors would be able to determine if anything else is going on. Jack's breathing seems to get worse at night - a pattern we have noticed for some time. So please pray that his beathing would continue to improve, that Jack would gain strength each day (increased strength has not come easily this time) and that we all would continue to rest in God's strength and wisdom.

We have been so blessed by so many friends and family that have helped with Aaron, supported us and provided meals since we returned home. Thank you for being Jesus to us!

We arrived home from Rochester on Monday evening

We arrived home from Rochester on Monday evening. We were very relieved to be home and were all very excited to be home and able to sleep in our own beds! Tuesday brought some additional concerns as Jack is still very very weak and his breathing is worse now that when we went to Rochester. He is still having both chest and back pain. After consulting with his doctors in Rochester, they decided to put Jack on an antibiotic for lung inflammation and increase his predisone dose to help to dialate the airways.
